Bitchpants McCrabby

Despite apparently gaining some semblance of a fanbase because of the crap I release on Nexus, I’m not a very well-liked person.

Not that I take pleasure in the fact or anything. At the same time, I’ve never denied the fact that I’m a bitch. No sob story behind it. I’m not a bitch because baw family troubles/hard time in school/mental illness/insert other cliché reason here. No, I just have a very low tolerance for certain things.

I’m cutting this so it doesn’t take up too much space. Read if you dare, etc.

I hate rabid fans.

It shits me when a site experiences high traffic and essentially turns people away, and people start raging and blaming the site.

Case in point- Pottermore.

They can’t fix it until people STOP GOING TO IT. It’s not their fault. Blame the fantards for almost DDoSing the site with their rabid fangasming.

Millions of people trying to register -> High server load -> Server can’t handle it.

FFS. Learn to internet.

Supanova – Part One

So, today was day one (or two if you count preview night) of the Supanova Pop Culture Festival here in NSW. MY GOD. IT WAS HUGE. But oddly disorganised in comparison to other years.

Supanova is one of the only cons that operates in multiple states. I’ve yet to actually go interstate to attend another Supanova, but I probably will when I can afford it. Still planning on AvCon (Adelaide) and Manifest (Melbourne) next year if I manage to get a job again (fingers crossed!).

…Yeah, I’m done here.

I lost my screenshooting muse a while ago. Now I’ve lost my modding muse. It just seems like a chore now. I mean, I might make a few things here and there but I just can’t be bothered working on anything anymore.

Modding has become too large a part of my life, and the community doesn’t feel… friendly anymore. I hate feeling like I’m walking on eggshells. Like my actions will probably piss off someone for whatever reason.

So yeah. I’m done. If someone wants to pick up where I’ve left off on a project, chuck me a message on TES Nexus and we’ll sort something out.

That isn’t to say all my mods are open source. I’m not up and going. I still expect people to ask permission to use my stuff (and I reserve the right to say no if I feel like it, but I doubt I WILL say no).

My boyfriend will be releasing a few eye packs on his account on Nexus. They are a joint effort between him and myself. They will be filed under ‘MercDesu’. I don’t have an ETA, but soonish. We’re getting preview images together now.

So yeah. If I decide to start modding again, I’ll make sure everyone knows. I just can’t right now.
